GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI

AKO GRUP, which consists of 6 large-scale factories (PETLAS, Sumitomo Rubber AKO Turkey, AKO AKÜ, AKO JANT, AKO Lastik Kaplama, and AKO ÖTL), over 30 brands, and a network of nearly 1200 dealers, is the production powerhouse of Turkey, strengthening itself for tomorrow’s Turkey.

With 100% domestic production and advanced R&D activities, AKO is one of the largest manufacturers and exporters in Turkey, exporting to over 100 countries. Since its establishment, AKO has made continuous development its principle, and with more than 6,000 employees, it continues to grow by combining its experience and knowledge in the automotive industry with new technologies and investments.

As the leader of the Turkish tire sector, we are looking for an ‘’Export Manager’’ to join our headquarters in Ankara with the following qualifications.


  • Graduated from relevant departments of reputable universities,
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in export operations and sales, including at least 8 years in a managerial position,
  • Advanced level of English,
  • Knowledgeable in the automotive sector,
  • Possesses an international vision and the ability to develop new markets,
  • Well-versed in foreign trade and customs legislation,
  • Proficient in MS Office programs,
  • Experienced in ERP,
  • Strong strategic planning and leadership skills,
  • Customer- and results-oriented, analytical, investigative, and persistent,
  • Team-oriented, capable of reporting, with strong communication skills,
  • Strong verbal and written communication and representation abilities,
  • Available for domestic and international travel.


Responsibilities


  • Managing the brand’s market entry, positioning, promotion, and expansion activities in the countries under responsibility,
  • Ensuring the company’s expansion into new markets and acquiring new customers in line with company principles and targets,
  • Managing sales and marketing activities to increase market share and sales volume, conducting customer visits, and overseeing all export operation processes and follow-ups,
  • Conducting competitor brand and price analyses, reporting findings to management, and developing marketing strategies,
  • Ensuring export order processes are carried out completely and on time,
  • Managing quotation, pricing, and contract processes,
  • Coordinating with production, logistics, and customs departments for shipment planning,
  • Monitoring delivery, quality, and lead-time processes of export operations,
  • Controlling letters of credit, payment methods, and foreign exchange processes,
  • Managing customer requests, complaints, and technical feedback,
  • Ensuring accurate execution of sales processes within ERP/CRM systems,
  • Managing dealer, distributor, and OEM customer processes.
